How You Can HelpPop Tab Program
Little things make a big difference

Pop Tab Program

Small acts can make a big difference for families. Through our Pop Tab Program, aluminum tabs from soda, soup, and other cans are collected and recycled, turning something as simple as a pop tab into support for Ronald McDonald House Northwest Florida.

Each year, these donations generate approximately $5,000 to help cover essential operating expenses, such as utilities, allowing us to continue providing support to 1,000 families annually. Collect your tabs, bring them to the Ronald McDonald House, and help turn everyday items into a lasting impact for families seeking pediatric care.

Ronald McDonald House Northwest Florida takes the tabs to our local recycling center. They recycle the tabs and provide a check for the contribution. Approximately $5,000 is raised anually from this program.

Although the whole aluminum can is valuable, the tab is cleaner and smaller, making it easier to collect in large quantities. The tab of a standard soda can is made of high quality, high-grade aluminum. By itself, it doesn’t mean much, but when you pull together, pop tabs add up to a valuable donation.

Anyone! Because pop tabs are common and easy to collect, hundreds of individuals are organizations ave their pop tabs. Many schools participate in Pop Tab Pandemonium as well, a terrific opportunity for children to get involved and make a genuine contribution to their community.
